Yes, Cold Fusion is still used today, but you just do not hear a lot about it.  Cold Fusion can be harder to upgrade from one version to another and cost more to implement than the other languages because of licensing and other costs, which tend to turn people away from it.

I think CF is again getting popular now..

My previous company was mainly concentrating on CF and they were doing really good business.. they were even getting more projects than .Net or php because of less competition and easy to train and use freshers for the development.

Actually Adobe is keeping CF upto date and making it as a cutting edge technology.. more over they are giving excellent and smooth integration of Adobe Flex with CF. I think the popularity of Flex will help CF to again come to the main stream.

In India I never heard about CF training in any major training centers until last year. Now a number of major training providers started it.

The main obstacle of using CF is the big licensing cost.. Only big companies and enterprise users can think about CF cos of the licensing cost. Check this link to see the list of big companies which are using CF

We just implemented coldfusion in our workplace.  I'm the only programmer they have...and I don't know much about it LOL but they expect me to figure it all out.

I don't think it's dead, but it sure isn't as popular as it used to be....
