In my opinion XP is much better than vista for everything im sure many people would like to argue that but idk it just seems to have much less complexity to doing everything on it
complexity is a symptom of confusion not a cause

Vista gives me no problems for Java, neither does Windows 7. I have to say Windows 7 seems to work a lot smoother with my programming than any other operating system I have had so far.
