I have a form with a textarea for the user to input a description ( using SQL database) when the entered information is output on the page after retrieval from the database it is in one continuous line with no breaks / paragraphs etc . When the info is retrieved back to a form to edit and update in the database however it appears as it was originally written with line breaks etc as entered .
