I am trying to create a contact page in Flash which calls a simple PHP script. I have got to the point where it seems to work but when I open the email from the contact page I get a list of properties like Times new roman color etc as well as the email address itself.

In other words it seems to be sending the properties of the variable I pass from a flash text input box to the script but infortunately the properties seem to be sent with it !

Text and the web don’t mix. I cannot find anywhere explains how to take a block of text from a rich text box, click on a button sends it to a MYSQL database. I erase the block within the rich text box. I hit another button, and it goes gets the block from the MYSQL location and inserts it back into the rich text box. My file size is from ten to twenty pages.

I have either Flex 3.or Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition.

I am having a problem trying to pass a hidden varibale (php generated) into a javasrcipt event (self.location)shown below.
the values dd3.php?cat=val&appid=appidcheck do show up in the url
eg:

HTML on Clipboard - This feature selects data from browsers or Notes Release 5 and pastes it into 1-2-3 as a parsed HTML table.

PHP Help

Hi guys

Im new to this forum. Currently I am studying at uni and am in my final year. As part of my project I need to design a website using php and sql. My project is based on the periodic table (chemistry).

I've done both website and sql side of my project but am really struggling with php since i have never done php before. I currently have one simple script that connects to the database and displays the information for one element only (basically its been hard coded), for example if i click on the element H then it will return the information for H from the database.

However, my main headach is I need to use the same script for all elements instead of writing individually i.e. elements such as H, He, O etc... should have the same code but depending on what i click on it should return that information only....

I've been told that to do this i may need to use functions but since i have very little php knowledge i dont have a clue where to begin and time is running out for my as i have 3-4 weeks left for the deadline.

Can someone please advise me what to do? Your help will be much appreciated....

hi, i just got a new job and between that and my family io just don't have any more tiome to program new features for my site.
So a friend of mine told me aboput this site a friend of his used their services a while ago, he told me they do joomla programming. But as i have never used the services they offer i don't know what to expecto or ask from them.
So, what do you think?
Should i give it a try?

Combining rows from two tables and sorting them

I have two MySQL tables, attachments and videos. there are two columns both tables have, pid and timestamp.

I want an array containing rows from both tables WHERE pid is equal to "given" and sorted by timestamp.

The use of JOIN will not work here because I want to keep the rows seperate.

unexpected T_LOGICAL_OR Error in script

Ok, this script is pretty basic. What it will do is FTP to a server and gather files (logs) and transfer them back to the web server. Seems simple enough.

It specifically searches for a special type of log, that begins with a certain string. I want to add another option so that it will search for another certain string. Basically, they are logs created by a cheat protection on a gaming server.

The script is already configured to work with UTDC, which is one type of cheat protection. I want to add it to also parse logs for AnthChecker too. which is another cheat protection.

UTDC logs begin with [UTDC] and AnthChecker logs begin with [AC], so adding this souldn't be too hard.

Basically what I have done is copied all of the UTDC things and just replaced UTDC with AC where applicable. (I am adding this on, not replacing) So basically UTDC still needs to work.

I have everything setup, except the auto transfer part. This is where I am stuck: (Only part of the file, parts that I edited)

As you can see, I took all instances of utdc and just duplicated it with ac, I am guessing that method I took is incorrect, since I obviously got an error with it.

Any help will be appreciated.
